A knifeshow is the ideal place for new knife designs . I am glad I could finish new ” hybrid ” friction folders for the BKS knifeshow at Gembloux.The hybrid folding knife is based on the popular ”mini” design and offers lot’s af advantages.

A hybrid friction folder made with the tough, well known semi-stainless D2 tool steel , titanium 6Al4V liners and spacer , tan colored glassfiber scales . All parts of this little gentlemens folder in bead blast finish.In the first picture , the hybrid compared with the S30V outdoor fixed knife.

Latest months I have been working on some new designs , here a pattern from the newest hybrid folder . First I have to finish several friction and linerlock versions of this design.Next will be a full titanium slipjoint hybrid .

2011 has to be a innovative year so I have spent lot’s of time in a new knife design called ” minimum” , re-designed the mini folder called “hybrid” , made prototypes for several survival tools and improved my workshop with a new beltgrinder.Next 12 months I concentrate me on maximum 3 designs in order to improve quality and shorten delivery time.A new tutorial ? I am organizing the content of this website and soon new information will be published .
